Dear Scholarship Applicant,
We are happy you found our non-profit. Our non profit was set up to help deaf students such as yourself, by awarding scholarships to be used specifically for tuition, room and board, course materials and living expenses while attending school. Please take your time to complete our questionnaire and essay.
Minimum application requirements:
Must be enrolled full-time or part-time, for the current semester.
Must be Deaf, or Hard of hearing. (Cochlear implanted students, hearing aid users, ASL speaking etc are all welcome to apply.)
More details:
Winners will receive a one-time scholarship of $2,500 (two thousand five hundred dollars)
Number of winners per semester will depend on funds available at the time for scholarships
All submissions will be reviewed before a winner (winners) are chosen
Winners will be contacted within 45 days of the application deadline, and their name will be posted on the scholarship page.
Applications must be submitted by October 15, 2024 and winners will be selected by November 1, 2024.
Applications should be submitted to vanessa@raisethevolume.org as a .pages,.doc, .docx, or .pdf file and include:
Copy of college transcript
Proof of current class enrollment for the 2024 semester
Photograph
Short bio for the website
The winners will be required to execute a publicity release, prior to the payment of the grant, permitting the use of the winner’s photo and biographical information in marketing and advertisement materials in relation to the award of the scholarship
If you haven’t heard from us don’t be discouraged, there will still be an opportunity to receive our funds in another semester.
