We are passionate about our cause as we realize how even small obstacles can come in the way of a higher education, compounded by a disability only makes that hurdle that much higher.

Diversity and inclusion are a hot topic these days, as they should be. The American Disability Act (ADA) was established 31 years ago and not much as been done since. Although the ADA made many helpful changes as far as disability rights, it did nothing to crease accessibility for people with “invisible” disabilities like deafness. Our past fundraisers have been an eye opener as many businesses and companies are not prepared to welcome a deaf customer/client. Not to fault, but awareness is key.

One of our missions at Raise the Volume is to educate and assist your company to become Deaf Friendly. Businesses that seek inclusion and diversity by taking steps to accommodate the Deaf Community will show their customers that they truly care. We all need to do better to make the world accessible for all and it starts with you! We will be happy to assist you and your employees to become Deaf accessible. It will take several changes, but we are confident it will expand your customer base and create a win-win experience for all.

What can your business do to become Deaf Inclusive?

If you’re interested, we will be happy to meet with you and access your needs. Our “tool kit” packet and enablers provide direction that is through, concise, and informative. Since we are non-profit, we ask for a small tax-deductible donation to Raise the Volume to which 100% goes back to further our mission.

Thank you for your time and looking forward to working with you and our mission together.
